PADI Instructor Course (IDC)

The PADI Instructor Course is the world’s leading Scuba Instructor program. It helps you transform into one of the most marketable dive professionals on the planet, and allows you to live the life of your dreams.

At Magic Oceans we have refined the Instructor Course to make sure that you get everything you need to be successful. The Instructor Course is comprised of 3 separate courses, the Emergency First Response Instructor Course, the PADI Assistant Instructor Course and then the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Course. It is possible to take these courses separately but it’s best and more convenient to take them all combined in the PADI Instructor Development Course.

IDC at Magic OceansWe always run the instructor course to coincide with the PADI Instructor Exam, which is a 2-day written & practical exam conducted by a PADI staff member immediately after your IDC, so by the time you return home, you are a fully-fledge PADI Instructor.

You start with the PADI Instructor Development Course eLearning which will prepare you for your arrival at Magic Oceans and can be done in the comfort of your own home. The workshops during the course will then build on this knowledge and put it into practice.

During the course…..

During the instructor course, you will learn to conduct presentations in the classroom, swimming pool and of course, the ocean. By playing both the part of the instructor and the student you hone your teaching skills and have fun along the way. PADI has developed a teaching system where we give you feedback immediately. This allows you to adjust your presentations as needed to really hone your style and confidence of a seasoned PADI Pro.

A detailed schedule will be given to you at the start of your course, allowing you to plan for what’s coming up each day. We always build in contingency time for extra practice of any areas where you may have a few issues. Having such a detailed yet flexible schedule is another factor that makes our Instructor course unique and successful.
