Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT)

The Master Scuba Diver Trainer Certification is a combination of teaching abilities and teaching experience. Being able to teach extra continuing educational courses makes you more employable, knowledgeable and gives you the ability to diversify your job. This is not only attractive to potential employers, but also to your potential dive students.

What you need

To be eligible to become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, you will need to have certified 25 students in any combination of PADI Courses and be able to teach at least 5 PADI Specialties other than PPB and the AWARE courses.

What we can give

We offer a range of PADI Instructor specialties that you can take with our course director over a 2 to 4 day course. Most people take the MSDT preparation course immediately after completing the IDC. Of course they won’t have the 25 certified students, but having the option to teach more courses gives them more opportunity to reach the 25 certified students quickly. If you decide to continue on and do an internship at either Magic Oceans or Magic Island, you will also be given the opportunity to teach courses and earn certifications.
