PADI Staff Instructor (SI)

The PADI Staff Instructor Course is the first step towards becoming the highest PADI Instructor level: the Course Director. It allows you to conduct certain parts of the IDC with a Course Director on site and independently teach the PADI Assistant Instructor Course.

The best and the only way you can take your PADI Staff Instructor course at Magic Oceans, is to audit an entire IDC. You arrive a few days before the IDC starts and freshen up your skills and knowledge. You will also learn how the scoring system works on the IDC and take part in 4 presentations conducted by the Course Director.

It’s a good idea to go through the same preparation as an IDC Candidate before arriving (please see “PADI IDC Preparation” for details)
